6. USE OF COOKIES

6.1 Like other websites, the Data Controller uses a common technology known as cookies and web server log files to gather information about how users use the Website. The use of cookies and web server log files allows the Data Controller to monitor the traffic on the Website and tailor the content of the Website to your personal needs.

7. SECURITY

7.1 The Data Controller implements security measures to prevent unauthorized access to your Personal Data and to prevent unlawful data processing, destruction, or damage. The Data Controller applies, among others, the following security measures:

7.1.1 Physical: The building where the Data Controller stores Personal Data is guarded, with an access control system and camera protection. Visitors can only enter the Data Controller’s premises under escort. In addition, the Data Controller has taken appropriate measures to protect Personal Data from the risk of destruction or damage, such as storing backups in an alternative location, from where they can be retrieved in the event of a failure of the primary system.

7.1.2 Staff: All staff undergo an introductory training that includes data protection. All staff sign a confidentiality agreement before the commencement of employment.

7.1.3 Documentation: All tasks are carried out based on documented instructions. Documentation does not leave the Data Controller’s premises. Printers are placed in a room with restricted access.

7.1.4 Technical: The Data Controller securely handles all electronic data carriers it no longer uses, such as faulty hard drives or backups, in accordance with applicable regulations. All changes made to the databases are recorded in an event log, which shows the date, time, and user who made the changes.

7.1.5 Data: The Data Controller stores Personal Data on servers located within the European Union. The virtual server is located on a physical server housed in a locked cabinet in the server room. Other users do not have access to the data.

7.2 The Website contains several links that may direct you to websites not operated by the Data Controller or not following the Data Controller’s data protection practices. Please note that this privacy notice does not apply to those websites. We recommend that you review the privacy notices applicable to such websites before disclosing any personal data. The Data Controller is not responsible for damages caused by unlawful data processing or breaches of data security requirements by the operators of these websites, nor for violations of personal rights.

Please note that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
